We wouldn't want to guess how many websites are out there that aren't satisfying their owners needs but we do get quite a significant number of clients asking if we could take a look at their website(s) and offer our professional opinion.

The immediately obvious flaws in the majority of websites that we look at are in the design of the site, how easy it is to navigate around the site and how well it has been coded (that effects how long it takes to download, how many different types of browser software can see the site and how easily search engines can read the relevant data).

What do we do to successfully redesign a website?

Looking at a website from a customer's perspective is important - so we need to understand your business and your customers to start the redesign process. Once we've done that we look at your products and services, your competitors and associates, and your website's information.

Once we've gathered these details we're in an excellent place to redesign your website and ensure it performs.

How do we know if a website performs?

There are two ways to measure the performance of a website:-

1. Does the website attract visitors?
2. Do visitors stay on the website and perform appropriate functions?

Analysis of the website is key and there are a multitude of website performance metrics available to perform this task. If the website in question doesn't already have these in place then the first task is to start to get data, by putting these in place.

Once we have the data we can advise where to make changes.

How do we make websites perform?

First and foremost we need to know what your website's objectives are - in fact if you are serious about your website working for you then we need to know the objectives for each individual section of your website.

Once we know these we're in a good place to examine the analytical data of your site and then give appropriate advice and suggestions to implement changes that will bring about results.
